Which Plan Is Right for You?
Free
Best for: Occasional, casual use

Billing and Switching Plans
Annual vs Monthly Billing
Currently, only the Business plan offers an annual billing discount. Monthly billing is $30/user/month while annual billing is $25/user/month, saving 17% per year. ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Go are billed monthly only without annual discount options. Enterprise contracts are always custom and typically negotiated on an annual basis with additional volume discounts available for larger seat counts and multi-year commitments.
Upgrading and Downgrading
You can switch between Go, Plus, and Pro at any time through your ChatGPT account settings. When upgrading, you pay a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle and gain immediate access to the new plan features. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you retain premium features until then. There is no penalty for switching plans, and you can cancel any paid plan at any time with no contract commitment.
